Background:
2005: The AIIM board of directors initiated the development of the AIIM Certificate programs to improve the understanding of industry best practices, but also existing and emerging technologies..
2006: AIIM introduces the first Certificate programs based on learning objectives defined by industry experts in AIIM Education Advisory Groups in Europe and the US. The groups have subject matter experts from companies such as Accenture, BearingPoint, Canon, Fujitsu, Gartner, GlaxoSmithKline, IBM, Ricoh, US Dept of Treasury, and US Courts.
2007: AIIM organizes classes across the world with training partners on most continents. 70% of course attendees are from end-user organizations, 15% are vendors, and 15% are consultants.
2008: The AIIM Certificate programs have grown to become the leading training programs in information and process management with 8,500+ course attendees in 2,5 years. Classes are available as online courses, scheduled public courses, or private/in-house courses on request.
