Position Summary & Major Responsibilities: This position is entry-level and is typically held by individuals who are recent graduates or who have limited relevant experience in the industry. This position involves the development and configuration of single components of a system under the direction of a more senior analyst/engineer. Detailed responsibilities include: - Designing and developing of software for individual applications
- Designing and configuring networks and systems
- Participating in providing project documentation, including contractual specifications and user level documentation
- Performing project work according to defined procedures
Education & Experience Preferred: - A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline such as Math, Physics or Geosciences, with 1+ years related post-secondary experience in software/systems development

Graphical Interface Designer (GID) | Fri Oct 24 2009 13:17:17 GMT-0700 (Pacific Daylight Time)
Position Summary & Major Responsibilities:
This position is an entry-level and is typically held by individuals who are recent graduates or who have limited relevant experience in the industry. This position involves the production of graphical interface development under the direction of a senior GID position. Detailed responsibilities include:
- Participating in the development, documentation, testing and commissioning of any aspect of graphical interface design for a system, depending on project assignments
- Participating in the graphical interface development for systems configuration and project specific schematics and participation in providing project graphical interface design related documentation
- Performing graphical interface design related work according to defined procedures. This is a position of increasing responsibilities
- Training provided is extensive and include: formal training sessions, selective project assignments and guidance from other GID and application developers. As each person’s own abilities increase, so does the complexity level of the assignments that they are assigned.
Education & Experience Preferred:
- A Technical Diploma with 1+ years object oriented programming experience, or
- A High School Diploma with 2+ years experience working with computer graphics packages such as AutoCAD; certification for object oriented programming is an asset
